Doctors on Demand

We live in a digital world and that means there are many things we can access without leaving our homes.

Impact Health Sharing

It would seem that sickness hits us on the weekends or at night when most doctors’ offices are closed. One of the most convenient things available today when illness or injury strikes, is that we can visit with a doctor anytime, anywhere. There are some health care needs that do not require a face-to-face consultation and that’s when Telehealth comes in.

Skip the visit to the urgent care and outweigh the risks of being exposed to germs in a waiting room. Typically, life cannot be put on hold because you or someone you love is not feeling well—and it doesn’t have to.

Getting care when you need it most brings peace of mind. That’s why having a doctor online is most convenient, especially when there are no added costs.

Also, board-certified doctors can write prescriptions that can usually be picked up within the hour, depending on the pharmacy you choose.

So, how does it work?

Current Impact members can access Telehealth after logging into the Member Center.

  • Schedule a visit by phone or video.
  • Visits are available on your desktop, smartphone or mobile device.
  • Online visits are best for non-emergency conditions, like the flu, pink eye, sore throat, insect bites, UTIs and more.
  • No extra cost to you. Telehealth is complimentary with your membership.

Impact Healthcare Sharing

For Impact members, prescription medication expenses may be credited toward the PRA if they are not considered a treatment for chronic conditions that were preexisting when the member joined Impact.

When the member’s PRA has been met, the prescription amount may be Shared after the first $25 on generic drug prescriptions, and after the first $50 on brand name prescriptions if a generic is unavailable.

Remember, if you have an emergency you should go to the emergency room.

But the next time you are hit with sudden illness, you have the option right in the palm of your hand to schedule a visit through MDLIVE and feel better fast!
