Membership Participation, Cancellations and the PRA
In regards to Impact Health Sharing's policy, if a member does not pay their Monthly Share for more than 60 days, their membership may be cancelled. It's important to note that only eligible medical bills incurred on or before the Cancellation Date will be considered for sharing. Therefore, it's crucial to ensure timely payment of the Monthly Share to maintain active membership and sharing.
Please remember that the Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA) as well as any Provider Fees and co-share are paid directly to the healthcare provider and not to Impact Health Sharing. Impact does not have direct visibility into whether the PRA has been paid or not. However, it is worth considering that a healthcare provider may have their own policies regarding financial standing and may have concerns about providing further services if a patient is not in good financial standing with their practice.
To avoid any issues, it is recommended that you promptly pay your Monthly Share and communicate with your healthcare provider regarding any outstanding balances. This will help maintain a positive financial relationship with your provider and ensure that you receive the necessary care.
